Leveling Up Culturally Responsive and Engaging Pedagogy "With a Little Help from our Friends"

District Intended Outcome: That we maintain the high performance of students meeting and exceeding district standards/expectations, increase performance of students performing below district standards/expectations, and reduce the predictable performance gap between groups of students performing at or above standards/expectations and groups of students performing below standards/expectations.

Bob's Discount Furniture Donation
Bob's Discount Furniture Presents John Wallace Middle School with $2,500 Donation
Bob's Discount Furniture donated $2,500 to John Wallace Middle School through their community outreach program! This Random Act of Kindness "RAK" donation is one of many that Bob's Discount Furniture has participated in, donating to many worthy organizations in the area. The check was accepted by Dan Dias at Bob's Grand Opening Ceremony on Friday, August 29th. Dan plans to use the donation to support students in need.
Jen Rodriguez Receives NEA Travelers Award for Teaching Excellence
Jen Rodriguez, first grade teacher at Anna Reynolds, was selected along with 47 other educators nationwide to receive the 2026 NEA Foundation Travelers Award for Teaching Excellence! This award honors educators who make a lasting impact in their classrooms and communities.
