Dear Paterson Families,
We had another fantastic week here at Paterson! It was wonderful to see so many of you at our Open House on Tuesday. I hope you enjoyed spending time in the classrooms with your children and meeting our dedicated teachers and staff. As I shared during my opening presentation, we are incredibly proud of the curriculum we share with our students each day, the engaging learning opportunities they encounter, and their hard work in pushing themselves when tasks become challenging. This is Paterson Pride!

We also had a fantastic Picture Day this week! Our students did a wonderful job and the photography company even complimented them on their high level of respect and politeness throughout the day. A special thank you goes to Lisa Barbagallo and our incredible parent volunteers for supporting this event and ensuring our students looked their best for their photo shoot!
Proud Moments:
- A huge shout-out to the students in Miss Bowler’s Kindergarten class! During reading centers today, they did a wonderful job working on their reading, letter practice, and puzzles. I had the opportunity to visit the classroom during their reading block to observe their practice firsthand and it was incredible to see just how much our Kindergarten students have grown since the beginning of the school year. Bravo, students and keep up the amazing work!
- A schoolwide shout-out to all of our students for doing a fantastic job practicing bus safety during our evacuation drill this week. Our incredible bus drivers led students through essential safety routines, ensuring everyone knows exactly what to do in the event of an emergency. I was able to observe our students as they efficiently practiced our safety protocols, reentered the building, and quickly settled back into their morning routines. Great job, Paterson Students!
