Dear Paterson Families,
Although it was a short week, our Paterson Panthers worked hard in their classrooms. Our students are well into their curriculum and rising to the challenge of grade-level tasks. Teachers continue to model academic expectations, empowering students to share and apply their understanding. As the month progresses, students will continue to tackle new learning targets. We are confident that our Panthers will continue to thrive and succeed in every learning experience ahead.
This week, we were excited to launch our very first School Families at Paterson! School Families bring our school community closer together by grouping students across different grade levels into smaller, supportive units. The purpose of these multi-age groups is to foster a strong sense of belonging, connection, and mentorship among our Panthers. Throughout the year, students will meet in their School Families to engage in fun activities, collaborative learning, and hands-on exploration. Be sure to ask your child about their School Family experience this week and ask who their leader is, who they met, and what fun activities they shared together!
Proud Moments:
- I am incredibly proud to celebrate our Students of the Month for Grades 1 through 4! These outstanding Panthers stepped into our new school year with enthusiasm and have set a wonderful example for everyone around them. By demonstrating strong leadership, actively participating in class, listening attentively, and serving as positive role models for their peers, they truly embody what it means to be a Paterson Panther.
I hope you all have a safe and restful weekend! I look forward to seeing our Paterson Families at our rescheduled Fall Fest this Wednesday, beginning at 5:30pm.
Warmly,
Dr. Correia
